Definitions for the indicators, terms, and accountability measures used in the pilot.

Height + Weight Measurements

Track completion of basic growth measurements and flag patterns that may connect to nutrition, health, neglect concerns, or needed school-health follow-up.

Academic Performance

Shows whether children are learning, losing ground, or needing intervention before failure becomes permanent.

Attendance + Stability

Captures school connection, instability, housing stress, transportation barriers, and withdrawal patterns.

Behavioral + Emotional Indicators

Identifies emotional distress, peer safety issues, exclusionary discipline, and crisis referrals.

School Health Indicators

Shows health concerns visible at school, including hunger, hygiene, fatigue, clothing needs, illness absences, and developmental concerns.

Family Engagement + Protective Factors

Tracks support, response to outreach, after-school participation, mentorship, and improvement trends.

Privacy Boundary

Public reporting should use aggregate, de-identified data. Individual follow-up belongs in protected internal systems with strict access controls.

Response Accountability

Every triggered concern needs an owner, status, response timeline, and documented follow-up outcome.
